Meet the team
Helen Bateman
Helen has over 12 years experience in the world of travel, visiting over 65 countries, as a tour leader and later as an operations & product manager for Asia, Africa and the Americas.
Some of her favourite experiences include canoeing the Zambezi river, watching elephants using their trunks as snorkels to cross the river, sleeping in a tent in the Serengeti, whilst listening to lions playing nearby & hiking the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal.​​
Helen is passionate about sustainable travel, particularly the protection of wildlife and ensuring that the communities we visit benefit from tourism as much as we do.
Nala
Nala loves nothing more than travelling the length of the country to explore hidden gems, country pubs and cosy cottages. ​Her experience includes working at Dragoman Overseas Travel in the customer care team, always a fan of our trainee camp-outs, greeting clients and supporting social events.

​Our favourite dog-friendly destinations are Wells-next-to-the-Sea, Darwin forest, Devon & Scotland.
